And don't over estimate the power of a point 'n shoot. Altspace, one of the best photographers on here, uses a point 'n shoot camera and I have one that I carry with me everywhere. I've taken some awesome shots with it. Remember, a camera takes pictures, but the photographer captures an image.

totally agree. you can take some great shots with a decent point 'n shoot. but the other important element that you(usually) need is some post processing. doesn't have to be fancy, but just your basic crop, adjusting levels, white balance, etc. makes all the difference in the world.

FlyinHawaiian - Thanks for the advise bro. Yea the point n shoot does a pretty good job. Ill trying be more patient next time. I also have a tripod but i couldnt find it. If u were driving by and seen me with a tripod in the middle of the road with cars zooming by ull probably laugh ur ass off.

Wow... way to go on bringing back old pics! She is missed dearly. I rode next to her on one of her last voyages before being burned to a crisp. In fact, it was about that time she spun a bearing and I drove S.A.MSP to the Mazda meet. Those are very sad times. Glad to see her back in her prime.
