Nothing new at the moment bro. Im waiting for some s*** thats being shipped. Go work on the MX. If you can work on a Protege 5 you can work on a MX. The P5 chassis is based off of the MX6 chassis (im sure you knew that though)...lol.

The mx6/626 was produced before the 99-03? Protege. The wheel bases are identical 102.8 inches. The suspension setups are similar only difference is the mounting points (sway bar/lateral arms/trailing arms. You can put protege coilovers on an MX6 and Protege brakes will bolt right up. IIRC...subframe too.

ok but I want o read material on it! I think it would be an interesting read.... I can put mazda 6 breaks (msp have 6 breaks from the factory) on my car but that doesnt mean that they share the same platform....

Chassis codes probably arent the same. I have no idea what the Chassis code for a Protege is. Im not saying the platform is the same but the Protege platform is a redesigned version on the MX6 GE chassis. It is what it is....the wheelbase is 102.8 inches on both cars....
