So can anyone answer me with a good photoshop program? Sorry for posting my old Taco but I just needed to show you what I was working with (MSPaint) and I would like to be able to chop better but it's all I got. I'll take the pics of the Toyota down if it offends people.

honestly I REALLY love Jasc's Paint Shop Pro (now owned by Corel)....its VERY intuitive and easy to use, and can do a lot of really powerfull stuff

its not as powerfull as photoshop is, but photoshop has a steep learning curve with it and is less intuitive to work around

for example, if you want to zoom in paint shop pro you just scroll to zoom in/out, it zooms to wherever your mouse is (huge plus!), and you can zoom in incriments of like 20% at a time....in photoshop you have to hit ctrl and plus to zoom in, and it zooms huge amounts unless you go over to type in a particular number........for me, that is enough of an annoyance to only use photoshop when needed (for more powerfull tools like its MASSIVE library of brushes), and paint shop pro the rest of the time

if your just learning, I'd recomend psp...its cheaper too

PSP is nice and easy to use, I started with that. Photoshop does have a steep learning curve, but once you understand it, the opportunities are endless.

+1

I love the brushes in PS, its really an amazing app....but its like a corvette zr-1, I'll drive it if I need that power...but otherwise I'll drive a beater to get the job done lol

I think its better to learn how to use the professional programs so in the long run your not trying to relearn the ropes. Thats why I have the Adobe Master Collection CS3

I don't have the master collection, but been using CS3 for almost a year now, I think. I've heard that CS4 is on its way soon.
