Post The Best Pictures of Your Mazda

You'll have to excuse AMaff. If you don't buy tires that you have to get a line of credit for, then they are no good. He's one of those "rich" people that need to be taxed more.

I hope that comment wasn't towards me because i ain't rich, and if i were i sure won't be owning a Protege... i bought 4 sets because i got them at $45 each tire, and because in here in Spain same exact tire cost $ 210 each not mentioning how much other brands runs for.. is a simple math..

No, that was towards Amaff

It was meant that Andrew is scoffing that you said the Nankangs are good.

He is a tire snob.

Well, Andrew lives for suspension and tires and making cars as light as possible for the track.

For me, i don't need a near race tire that holds the road like glue, as i just drive to work and back.

So, for me, Nankangs would be sufficient. I just rather sell the RX8 wheels in favor of suspension, since i've already got MSP Racing Harts

Well, Since i had the Racing Harts on my car before the RX-8 Wheels, i can say my car feels more stable, handles better, and i get better traction with the RX-8 wheels with the mods and hp i have than the Harts.. also i rather to spin some tires than griping like a mofo and break something up. as long as you keep your car on street tires you won't have to much problems transmission wise.. i also don't track or race my car up i drive it twice a month and only on weekends..

You know what really grinds my gears?
Paying a rediculous price for tires.
I had to replace my tires on my stock Miata wheels & they costed me roughly $250 (~300 Turkish Lira@ the time) for all 4. IMO, $45 or $65 for 18s is an excellent price. I wish I had thought about shipping over some tires too. Good on you. I'd hate to buy tires where you are, Euros...oh the expense!

I got a pro5, so, no mega torque or power from boost, so, that isn't a problem here. lol

For NA cars I would think the 18's would really slow down the performance. I noticed a huge difference between the P5/ES 16's and the MSP wheels. If they didn't look so damn good I would have switched back already.

Prices in here in Spain are just ridiculous, I mean Nankang are not the best brand tires in the market so imagine paying $210 for each tire here ? Michellin Pilots in here, Dunlops, Falken etc just imagine how much they are in here, and just prepare that @ss if you need to get them in 35 low profile...

QFT!

I got the stockers in the garage, but i just like the look of the RH's too much

I don't even want to think about how the Pro5 would run with 18's on it

If you really don't time attack your car in a track or auto X, you wont feel any difference, in my opinion everything is just mental. I putted my RX-8 wheels on when my car was bone stock, and to be honest i didn't felt any difference in performance but s*** load in look.. in think the RX-8 wheels are the Hottest OEM Wheels ever made, and they never looked so good in another car than on any Protege, not only MSP...

Sorry bro. i really doubt the Harts look better in the P5 than the RX-8 Wheels.. but i understand that there are different strokes for different folks..

you sir are evil

I wanted RX8 wheels from the start, but with already being in 4x4 mode with my suspension, rx8 wheels would only further that problem, so, i need to sell em to get new springs and struts

that can easily be solved.. save some money, take your time, buy Tein S Springs, get Nankangs, and your ready to go.. is easier and faster to get those parts, than buying and finding the RX-8 wheels you are selling in the same conditions they are.. I promise you you'll regret it when you see them go..
