Someone asked me to take a pic of how well the +38 offset wheels are flush.

Nice. My +35 offset wheels with 275/35/18 tires were just too wide for my car. That looks great though.

That's my thing, if I were to get a FMIC, it would be painted because why show others what you have?

Which brings me to a question, is a BoV really necessary because that too shows what you have? Is it worth the 250-400 bucks or whatever they cost?

Why not show what you've got? Fear of theft? My FMIC has been exposed to the world for over a year now and I think I've had one, maybe two people try to mess with me. If anything, seeing the FMIC will make a lot of stupid ricers leave you alone. But honestly, who cares if they can see your FMIC or Mazdaspeed badge or whatever. It's not like you're streetracing or anything right?

Im more of a lay low person, I dont like to show off what I have
...but yeah, I do race it on the street every now and then, granted theres no heavy traffic or cops around lol

Plus I like the black better than the silver FMIC color, suits my car better IMO.

PS: the look on peoples faces when they try to race u cause they see the exhaust on the back, thinking its a regular NA protege, but then u start pulling is priceless

ehh i always keep my front grill in because i really just like the sleeper aspect of my car. i had it uncovered for maybe a month or 2 before i put the grill back in.

So it all goes back to streetracing. Other than that, there is no reason to try to hide anything (because the last time I checked FMICs aren't illegal). I don't race on the street (but I do street tune but that doesn't matter) so I don't really care what other people know about my car. I just like knowing I have something special and seeing the looks on peoples' faces as a station wagon with a FMIC drives by them is great - especially the Honda guys.
