even I'll admit I went through a rice phase with my first car

Yes, I think we have all done stuff to our cars or some mod at one point or another that we can say today... "What the heck was I thinking!" lol

Or some people just cant change it. Like the painted flames on my car! I really don't like them. They were on the car when I bought it and I always planned on repainting the car some day but haven't been able to afford to yet.

Don't take us seriously... we're just giving him a hard time. Something tells me that if you've gone THAT crazy with your car, chances are you're able to take these things in stride.

Now, if that is truly the look that he was after, then really there is nothing more to say-- we just have fundamentally different opinions of what is tasteful and what isn't. Whatever makes him happy-- at the end of the day it's his car and no one elses.

With that said, there is such a thing as constructive criticism... and if he's willing to listen, I'm sure there's a lot we could give him about what the majority thinks is tasteful. However, all you have to do is take one look at this car to know he wants it to stick out, and to that effect he's succeeded. Whether it sticks out in a good way or bad way is debateable. But you know what my opinion is.
