yeah i ended up clearing them, but also went with a really light coat of multi purpose thompsons water seal to water proof it. i have to add a little more though. and yep since plates are reflective its glare. the reflection of the plate is not

My vote is to stay away from black. A black car with a black wheel I think is ok, but the not so black tire looks like total crap. Any other color would look great.

I love how Velocity Red can look like a totally different color when light is either present or not. We all know it's the same color, but the difference between the bumper and fender in the 2nd pic is nuts!
