I love how Velocity Red can look like a totally different color when light is either present or not. We all know it's the same color, but the difference between the bumper and fender in the 2nd pic is nuts!

Pearl coats tend to do that. Of course I played with the color just slightly for a more dramatic effect.

Thanks guys! The wheels are 19x8.5 +42 Enkei RP03s with 225/35/19 front and 235/35/19 rear. They're General Exclaim UHP tires.

They're the wheels I was about to buy before I got my MX-5s You're making me wish I went with them now..
Looks like when my tires run out I'll be sourcing a set Wonder if you get the concaveness at 7" wide +45..

These have a little concave to them but the 9+ wides have even more. I don't think the 17x7 +45s would have much. 17x8 +48 would look better. Tigermack posted up a pic with his on rp03s that looked like 17s. Actually it was one page back in this thread. Maybe he can provide some info about them.

Yeah saw them, they've got that SBC coating which I'd get, but yours look silver and are still sexy

Actually the ones he posted look a lot like the silver mine are. I think SBC would have more of a chrome look to it.

Yeah, you're right, the SBC is pretty much chrome. the silver's got the gradient effect towards the centre I like

As everyone already stated...would also point out it depends on the lens you have. I was using a Canon 70-300mm at f5 and at 135mm.

Yeah, but a high telephoto setting doesn't necessarily mean a narrow DOF. The f/stop is the primary cause of a narrow DOF. Case in points:

10mm, f/3.5, 1/60sec

The ones on my car were 17x9.5 I forgot the offset... I think it was +38. With 245/40 tires on.
