DC is awesome.. I'm down there every few weeks to visit my family (sister, nieces).

If you haven't tried these spots to eat, they're worth checking out:
Bon Chon Chicken... best damn wings I've ever had
Peking Gourmet Inn... one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area

thx for the compliments guys, ill pass em on! it was his photo taking skills, but i DID help with location ideas/angles etc. Im still in the learning phase of photography with my little d60 kit.

Judman is right, HDR is pretty standard for photo embellishing these days.
But i like it, i know it isn't everyone's cup-O-tea. If you check out the album link, some of the raw unedited photos look good too!

I too thought them a little surreal and over the top. They look like they belong in a video game. Perhaps I am just old fashioned, but give me the "real thing" over HDR every time.
Other than that, I'd bet the originals are very nice!!
