6k, anything over 8k is useless, causes eye fatigue over time and has brightness reducers by my readings. i hope ur strips r amber. where did he get them from? i mesured my headlight, and id need some 10" long. id stick em up top, and splice them into the corner light wiring.

Alright, and im not sure where he got them o.o im pretty sure he just got a led strip but again idk, he has a street glow kit on (actualy looks nice on his acura Legend) but im looking forward to it.

Well, they are 3500K, no need to lie,, yes they look more white than my headlights, the head lights are blue

that's good info, but once again, they came in a a metal box, and outside said 3500k, and my headlights are 8000k

I'm not disputing you didn't buy a box that said 3500K.

Don't take it as an attack on you.

It could be the camera settings for all I know. I'm just basing my opinion on the pics posted.

The 3500K hid's you've got look to me to be closer to a 4500K setup.

I don't mean to offend. Can I ask where you bought them from though?

Cause a 3500K kit should give off a nice yellow glow, rather than a white

Sorry man i didn't took this like an attack, don't get me wrong.. i was just saying you know. i bought them at a local shop last year in Miami.. the first foglights bulbs were yellow turning to green, i didn't like them. so i told the guy who sold them to me, to get me the same as my headlights, and he came up with new ones in a metal box, and it said 3500k, they might be something else, but what i saw in the box said 3500k, sorry if i sounded defensive...

i like how they look, these Hids when you get in front of the car they don't bother your eyes, in Miami some hid's are illegal, one time a cop told me, to find out if they are illegal just put your self in front of the car at a certain distance i don't remember know, if they bother your eyes they are illegal, if they don't you are OK, anything over 10,000k are illegal in Miami...

I'm 2 hours north of Miami, and, i don't get bothered with either HID setup in either car, but, i've got them both aimed low enough so the glare stays out of your eyes.

I test it with the other car parked 100 feet or so infront of it and get in it to see if it hurts my eyes.

So far both cars are good

3500k color should look exactly like a stock halogen bulb, only brighter - no hint of blue at all. while what you have was in a box labeled 3500k, the bulbs certainly are not 3500k.

Yeah, it might be... i know the very first ones he sold me where like Yellow turning to green, i didn't like them at all. probably he just gave me the box of the yellow ones and change the bulbs inside the box

O.G, that is REALLY white for a 6000K kit! Any wall shots though?

maybe its my cam...they do look pretty white on the road, but looking directly at the headlight assembly there is a very slight blue tint.
I'll see if I can post up some wall shots when it gets dark later.
