Post Pictures of Your CX-5 Mods, Upgrades and Accessories!

To answer all the questions.

1. Nope, never out of sync.
2. Never had a single instance of moisture or condensation.
3. I live in NJ. You pay for flight and I’ll gladly help :) (or wait until I’m in the Bay Area in august).
lol August is almost here 🤭
In the meantime I will save up.

But now you need to change your turn sig bulbs to red-coated ones to match!
(Be carefull with LED bulbs though... I had installed Phillips LED bulbs w/load resistors and they somehow interfered with the cruise/smart braking electronics and kept throwing errors.)

I won't. I'll leave them the way they are. Actually, I prefer yellow/amber light for turning signal. I was a bit disappointed with the bumper sequential blinkers for not having amber light, everything is red in there.

On the extension tail light, the last mod that I did, I must say, I am disappointed. The adhesive tape it's not holding properly and the assembly it's not attached to the body all around. It looks really cheap from up close. It looks cool at night, no question, but the craftsmanship sucks. Maybe I've got bad luck with this particular item, who knows. Any recommendation for a good double-side tape? If anybody is interested, I've made a lot of pictures during the installation process.

So… beside the adhesive, you’re pleased with it? Which ones did you get?

I apologize for the car being dirty in advance, haven't had the time to clean the inside lately.

Installed the trim covers that I got from AliExpress. (Center console, window panels, and a couple more pieces) There are a couple of scratches on them and I am trying to arrange a solution with the seller.

I like the quality and managed to install everything in 10-15 minutes (except passenger side window panel due to the lock/unlock button).

Aluminum pedals: Got them from AliExpress as well. I ordered the footrest piece as well but my winter mats cover that area so I'll install it when I switch to the cloth mats.

They are all metal which is a great plus. Brake pedal replaces the OEM plastic one, accelerator slides over the existing one (great design choice, arguably better than Mazda). The footrest uses double sided tape.

Feels slightly better when driving (obviously aside from the 30HP I gained). Design-wise they look great except for the CX-5 text which firstly uses the old font and secondly isn't super high quality. No one's going to pay attention to that, and at this price point I can't complain.

Installed hood struts. Got them from Amazon, had to refer to installation videos on YouTube as there were no instructions in the box. Broke the nut driver as well as the adapter for smaller sockets in the process. (It was a cheap set from Amazon, you get what you pay for)
One trip to the hardware store later, I managed to finish the installation.

When installing these make sure that you tighten all bolts properly, especially the ones that hold the hood.
