Anyone have pics of the SRI in theirs yet?? Mine will be here Tuesday and I will have pics following...

^^ No se ve ni madres (ooops sorry, the links are not working ;), LOL)

Now they are visible. Looking good. It seems that the US got the short end of the stick with no LEDs nor HIDs. Canada and Mexico did get them then. I also like the under bumper diffuser in gray...

Anyway, welcome!

Gracias!!

Anyways, looking at the differences between countries, i might add that Mexico, even though its not as bad as the US, didn't get the full package either...

Canada is definitely better off that the rest of us, but i guess i cant complain much!!

Whats missing from the Mexican Spec is the Bluetooth, electrical seats w/memories and finally, Satnav. You could say its a MS3 not-so-Grand-Touring, haha...

Just though i should share that with you...

Cant wait for the 800 KM mark on my car, then, itll officially be go-time!

Congrats!!! It's so weird how different areas are getting different parts of the Speed 3!! Beautiful car!!! Hey, last night Ken put in my Corksport SRI and the pic on the Protege Garage website with the SRI is my car!!! A little claim to fame :)

I hear you. I also like the value-price Mazda offers, but the OEM HIDs/LED Tails would not break the bank. AWD would though...

They can keep selling the Sport, but add the Grand Touring as they have done in the past, I'm sure buyers will show up (Just see the 08-09 MS3 owners in the forum). Mazda USA does that a lot, look at my soccer mom cars, I would not have minded paying some extra bucks for HIDs, LEDs and sunroof (Grand Touring) but the Manual Transmission is only offered on the Sport trim (argh)

who cares about HIDs, really. I picked up my last set for $40. Slimline ballasts and all. And they've been working fantastic for the last 6 months. I know, I know factory HIDs have properly designed projectors, yada yada...but every set of HIDs I've put in halogen projectors came out just fine. No complaints from oncoming traffic and much better visibility.

As for the LED tails...ehhh....kind of a silly thing to care about in the grand scheme of things.

Oh and as for the Mazda5...manual only in Sports unless you found the manual Touring I bought. (dance)

2009 and 2010 are all but nothing, anyway, veering off topic badly, bring the 2010 MS3 pics! :D

I like the different color lower bumper too, but why gloss and why such a light gray? Imo, it should be a flat finish and darker (more like the 1st gen).

Hids definitely make a difference but as you said a conversion kit works just as good:) On my 2005 that I traded, it didn't come with hid's so I put in a Phillips slim line 10k and they were amazing!! For what I paid for my loaded 2.5 I definitely could have bought a speed 3, but I a a sedan guy and to make up for it, I probably got the only fully loaded 2.5GT with a 6-speed. Those are rare out here to find and lots of fun :)

I have to admit it shocked me to see a handful of 2.5s stickered $2k more than the mazdaspeed3. We bought our 2004 when they came out, got everything but nav, and it was $18k.

It is worth it to me, the 2.5 is pretty quick and it has everything, I have a friend with a Lexus is250 and she is in love with my 3. If I liked the hatch I would have definitely bought a speed, but I love the sedan :) It was def 2k more than their speed 3 with the tech package at the Mazda dealership, kinda crazy!!

The SRI from corksport by the way gives the 2.5 that extra punch, when floored, it takes off for sure!!!

I got it from Protege Garage, it's good to deal with the locals, and they have 150% the best customer service, hands dowm the best people to deal with :)
