possible ecu malfunction....please help

i tried to start my car saturday afternoon and it didnt turn over. lights worked, fuel pump made preperation noises etc etc. i held it in start for about 3 seconds and randomly it started. i thought....weird but ill just keep an eye on it.

went out to a local bar later that night and it started in the driveway. when i got to where i was going about 30 mins went by and i decided to move my car.. wouldnt start. went through all normal prep. just wouldnt turn like the starter was dead. i found a wire hanging under the dash from my turbo timer. it fell out from the ignition so i ripped the whole dash apart and put it back together, unhooked the battery, then reflashed the ecu with the AP. nothing.

now, when i turn the key to on the "normal noises" from under the hood didnt sound so normal anymore. the rear ecu dongle was making a clicking noise like it was being tripped and the electronic unit on the throttle body was making a continuous drone like ti was prepping but was stuck in a cycle or something. i unplugged it and the noise stopped. when i plugged it back in the noise wasnt there. i went to start the car. nothing.

i unplugged the ecu with the batter disconnected and the prongs are all straight and from what i see evenything looks good. when i reconnected the ecu and the battery with the key on once again....sounded like the ecu was tripping itself or soemthing. i dont get it. ive tried everything else.

its not the immobilizer because i can pop start the thing and the key light itsnt on. ****. no cel or nothing. i dont know what to do.

This might sound obvious, but you had a wire hanging from the turbo timer, which interfaces with your ignition system. Have you tried completely removing the timer and returning the wiring completely to stock?

yea....the splicers i have let the tt just clip into the main wire. i pulled them all out and gave it a shot. nothing.

either way when i get home tonight im going to pull the speed into the garage, pull the tt, replace the tune to stock, and see what the diagnostics pull up at a friend of the familys shop. i thought the ecu was bricked at first but the ap still connects.

ok so....went outside this morning to see how the old beast was doing....started right up without a hesitation. i dont get it. if anyone else experiences this or something close to it please let me know. just want to get that out there so i can share the unreliable feeling im having right now. lol. ill just park on hills for now to make sure i can pop start this b**** if i need to.

so i got into the ap cel codes and it threw a bunch of codes. it seems as ive dug into this that the u2064 code is thrown with other integrated circuit codes causeing a commuinication error. that version 103 map that cobb has is super ****** up and can cause any of your v103 maps to throw this code and cause your car not to start. it has to do with the CAN BUS and how it sends/receives signals to the PCM as far as i know. i really hope COBB can help me out here and let me know how i can fix this. im going to try to just uninstall the ap and revert back to the stock map in hopes the car will start again. watch your CEL codes really carefully guys.....
