Possible compustar group buy!!!

Its something I have been pursuing for a few weeks now, but I think I have a vendor willing to give us a group buy for the compustar 2WFH-AS.

For those that don't know it, it is a full two way remote car starter/alarm/turbo timer.

If its possible I will be doing a full install with EXTREAMLY detailed directions with photos before offering it so everyone can do it on there own without fear of problems.

The issue I am running into is warrenty. i would like the unit to be warrentied for 1 year. As you can imagine a vendor, possibly shipping out 20 of them to god knows who with various levels of abilities, is rather reluctant to warrenty them when its likely the problems will be user inflicted or improperly diagnosed.

OK, so whos interested. I am thinking it will be $250 per unit. Retail is about $500 and internet shopping will get you down to $300.

hmm. .. well ebay price for them is around 180 ive seen plus shipp .....the 2wss-as goes for around 270 shipped on ebay

can we aim like 210?

well hmm. . . .this is with warrantee though. ........i thought they only warranteed if you got it installed by an authorized dealer

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I'm new to alarms...

Is it possible to add other components such as to have the ability to roll down windows?

yes, I believe you can add window moduals. I will check to find out for certain.

Also the ebay ones are often refurbs or used.
THese are brand ass knew as shipped to retailers.

If you are going to have detailed instructions on how to do it, then I'm in. I've been waiting to install some of my other goodies because I am not exactly comfortable with the factory alarm. I've had my previous car jacked up 3 times losing expensive subs and amps in the process.

I'm VERY interested in this.....please keep me updated.....

maybe, the big one I would like is a back up battery siren and a hatch/ trunk protection pin switch.

Any idea of a time frame as to when you would be finished with yours?? I want one of these, but I've got a GReddy TT already. Also, I've got a 5 speed, so does this come with whatever is needed to bypass the clutch?

yea. . .we have a neutral trigger wire that will work with the remote start. . ..i dunno if the fm has a turbo timer function but i know the ss version does and you wont need it anymore

but will it be the same price for a standard transmission, the starter is what i'm primarily aimed at. for the coming snow.

the alarm will be nice for the future mods i'm aiming at in the spring.

same unit for both the auto/standard. it's a dip switch on the alarm where you choose either
