Possibilities?

Occasionally, but seems to be more frequently ive been getting a hi hi pitch noise coming from what seems to be my turbo. more within the area of the turbo. what are some of the possible problems that could be causing this? when i rev the engine the noise lessens and when i do a quick rev to 4-5 grand it goes away. (confused)

I was going to say it's the normal turbo spooling sound, but it sounds different. Probably take it to the dealer

naw i know the difference in the spooling of the turbo and a hi pitch noise. it sounds like a leak through a small hole with hi compression. it only does it at an idle like it could be a vacuum, but i think about it and it just does seem possible....... s*** i dunno right now thats why im im looking for opinions. the dealer would say something about my boost controller. so thats outta the question.

search for some threads on it, cause some other people were complaining of the idle noise and I think they found the source/fix
