Portland Auto show jan 26-29

If I can come up with tickets I'll go... I only go the years when I get tickets free.

That show is pretty pointless/wate of money unless you're in the market for a new car.

Freaking rip off unless you get free passes. I do want to see the new Toyota FJ if it's going to be there

i never been to one either that is mainly the point i want to go to think of it i never even been to any car show or meet. damn i need to get out more often

Well it's not really a "car show"... it's a new car expo. There's a few interesting things to look at, but for the most part it's just a bunch of new cars that you can see at any dealership.

As for shows... I generally compile a list of races and show events every year (covering OR, WA, ID, and BC). It's posted on Importmix.com as a sticky. It gets updated a lot because things change. Keep an eye on the OR section of that site in a few months if you'd like to go to events around

Anyone end up going to this? I was down there on Saturday.... There were very few exotics this year which was a disappointment. Nothing really special at all.... :-/

My fav part was the Mazdaspeed 6.... They brought a horrible color for a show like that (like a really dark green) and had it on a rotor shapped platform! I wanted to slap whoever was in charge of that stuff.

Sat in the new Miata... Not bad at all. Also sat in the new S4. Man I'd love one of those. :drool:

I took about 80 pics that I will eventually get up.

I went on saturday too, i was there around 3-5 that pissed me off to wit the ms6 on the platform.

I went on Sunday. Ya I was disapointed that the MS6 was on the platform and was sold too! The two favorite cars I came away impressed was with the Black Jaguar Xtype and one of the Saab.

Yeah I went Sunday also and I'm glad the FJ is getting different interior panels for the production model .The two cars I drooled over were the Corvette Z06 and the Porsche Caymen (Cayman ?).
