Quit hidding your kids from everything, it only makes them more curious. we need to stop making sex such a taboo, we need to be open and informative about it. i mean they are goign to have to know about it sooner or later (now adays its sooner) so why not educate them, not let them get to curious and make mistakes they will regret. you are talking about American Society and raising children, not even really addressing the issue we are talking about. The point is this is a car forum. What does a girl shaking her ass have to do with that? Since American Society is not as accepting to seeing naked girls everywhere, those people who put them in their sigs are choosing for others when and where they can fully enjoy and take advantage of the site. Until American culture becomes more accepting towards sex, I dont think it needs to be thrown in sigs .. only in specifically marked areas. See what Im saying y0?

I learned about sex and violence from a VERY young age,but my girlfriend was a 7th day adventist in private school her whole life.
when she goes out of town to oaklank,SS salinas,fremont,richmond,vallejo, she is in danger becuase she dosen't know any thing about the dangers,and she is so nieve.me one the other hand I go to any of these places,and have no problems(3 seperate people have tried to rob me,2 have tired to jump me,all have failed)
you're kids not seeing this stuff only hurts them,your hiding the truth.

Why put pics of hot women on a car site? Why not?! Please, show me a repair shop without a pin up calendar or poster. Name a magazine that doesn't advertise or promote a hot woman in their magazines. How about a tire or rim or any car part manufacturer? Women and cars go together, since before we were all born, well, most of us at least.

Furthermore, they're everywhere else, why shouldn't they be here? Pay attention to some advertising in the media, right now women are for sale and they sell, boy do they sell. Beautiful women are everywhere. Moms have gotten hotter on TV (can we say MILF?), all the celebs who were fat are shaping up, shaving ads have become supermodel parades, shows are dedicated to who is the hottest (anyone catch Fear Factor lately? Anyone see an A cup on there? Ever?), print ads in magazines have become more provacative - you want to see soft porn? Pick up a copy of Vogue! Did anyone see JLo's ad for her first perfume? The woman was naked! Butt ******* naked w/her arms strategically placed in front of her breasts. Open your eyes, half dressed women are everywhere, why not on this board? 99% of questionable material I've seen here (read: genitalia) has been prefaced with a NSFW tag. This is not a personal attack on anyone but I have yet to see a pic on here w/o a disclaimer that I couldn't be seen on television or in print.

By catering to the lowest common denominator of humanity, i.e. the desire to reproduce, marketing analysts have decided that to make us all like a product, they simply need to make us drool every time we see it. This doesn't even need to have anything to do with the product itself - but if we are conditioned to drool over everything, we become a group of spineless losers that jump at every fad and ***** ourselves into insane debt to have what people tell us we need to have.

Show some backbone, folks. Choose for yourselves rather than have your brains manipulated. For those of you who will undoubtedly respond with something ignorant like "I choose pr0n!" and truly feel that way, I am sorry.

And like I said before... there is a time and place for everything, especially our own sexuality. My simple opinion can be summed up by this statement: A car forum is not that time or place.

first off; to nate... do what makes you happy knowing that there will be a group of people on the forum supporting your ability to put up what you want...
I can appreciate the 'respect' argument while I think its an incorrect assumption and general fallacy, its your idea that people should censor things out of 'respect' for others and the site.
yet to me it only takes us one step closer to nasioc and a couple other sites that have filters and censorship (oh SNAP I said it!). this site is about the cars and the drivers of those cars. if the driver feels that his/her online persona mandates a little bit of ass-shaking so be it. its not my call and I don't think less of anyone that follows the rules (user agreement we all did to get access and post). do I think its necessary? no. but my ability to disagree is only valid if someone has the right to post it... 70% of the internet is porn related (or damn near), if you need a 'safe' environment to read the internet perhaps its time to either keep the kids away from the computer or get a laptop and leave the room. it sounds a little harsh I know but passing judgment on others is crap and you know it.
