haha. For those that dont know, this link used to show some guy bent over, with his cheeks spread, and waaaaay too much of his tonsils (you would really have to see the picture to understand it). The link no longer goes to that picture anymore, but people used to trick others into going there, and it was a painful experience.

I really can't understand how my self-expression has been so confused by so many of you. For the last time, then; I HAVE NO INTEREST IN CENSORING THIS FORUM. This doesn't even need to have anything to do with the product itself - but if we are conditioned to drool over everything, we become a group of spineless losers that jump at every fad and ***** ourselves into insane debt to have what people tell us we need to have.

Show some backbone, folks. Choose for yourselves rather than have your brains manipulated. For those of you who will undoubtedly respond with something ignorant like "I choose pr0n!" and truly feel that way, I am sorry.

And like I said before... there is a time and place for everything, especially our own sexuality. My simple opinion can be summed up by this statement: A car forum is not that time or place.

Basically it's like PhreakMP5 said on the previous page - this site represents not only cars but also the PEOPLE that drive those cars! If you want to see only car stuff, go to the library and read a book about cars. But here (and all forums that don't censor) you have to deal with the differences in personalities that exist amoungst the members! Some members will inevitably be more open and sexual about things than other members. It's just the way it is - everyone is different. If you prefer to not deal with those differences, then an internet forum (of any kind) is NOT the place for you!

In my fairly tainted opinion, what I see on here (T + A in sigs and avs) doesn't really qualify as porn, per se. Provocative? Sure. Risque? Some. Offensive? Depends on who you ask.

Basically its asking people to be more grown-up, which is hard to do on a site full of 16-21 year olds.. myself included. seriously though... women ARE a part of the car world, and the import scene in particular... to try to stop this is like holding back the flood. its not going to happen. I seriously recomend any of you who dont want to see such things, or cant due to your environment then just turn off sigs and avatars (to beat a dead horse) but its the only way to ensure your saftey at work, and your children's safety at home. just remember that even if it IS outlawed on this forum, we are big enough that some newb will put an "offending" picture in there without knowing, or having not read the rules.

honestly its somthing you are going to have to adapt to. I'm not saying its right, just that its not going to change. as you are in the minority of people on this forum you lose. its pretty much always been that way here.

Some people have come at this with very open minds, accepting a contradicting point of view even if they personally believe something different. On the other hand, a few in here have voiced their minds very poorly and immaturely. It's a shame that people can't simply say what they think on the subject without insulting anyone else.

i belive that age plays a large part in this argument ... i would have been on the side of "If you dont like it turn it off" 3 or 4 years ago ...
today i belive that if you respect yourself you should respect others as well.
its one thing to have a picture of a beautifull women by your name its another to have a half clothed object sitting there for anyone to see ...

if you dont understand this it is ok ... just wait untill you graduate high school
one day it will smack you in the face ...one day you will be the one saying

You might want to rethink the age argument- although most people become more conservative as they grow older, not all of us do. And personally, the high school comment is a bit over the top, I haven't been in high school for 12 years- my comments were pretty clear and not derogatory- you shouldn't judge someone due to their belief in the freedom of speech, after all, that's one of our founding principles(thumb)
