What's the deal with CEL's/MIL's? Will this thing be able to fool dmv? Most states require plug into the ecu.

Is this one of those standalones that you set up half way, go drive it around while it learns the tune, finish the installation, and then adjust the tune that it picks up on? Also, how well will that auto-tune function work on the direct injection? This car deffinately needs a standalone to climb up substantially in numbers, but I don't know that I could set up all the maps and correction maps and everything from scratch.
How about a non-PNP version?
Can we not just purchase one, and install it accordingly with a pin-out?
we have microtech LT10 standalones available for the mazda3 and mazda6 currently
Where can I find info on the Microtech PnP?
All I need to see is this working on a speed6 and I would pay 3grand to know I could truly take my car to 400+ HP ezmode.
