My PMM is done and dead. No leaking, no explosions, nothing. The rubber part of the mount however had lots of give, leading the mount to either strike against itself or against the frame of the car. And it only happened when the car was cold and had been sitting there for awhile. Think hard knocking somewhere along the side of the A pillar.
I had initially thought that this had something to do with my vvt actuator. Turns out it was the mount making the noise. Replaced it with the topspeed mount and all is well. Sorta. Just leaves a bad aftertaste in my mouth and vibrations~~! Anyone else have this happen to them? All mounts are stock save the PMM now.
