Plz HELP

Okay so after driving about 20 something miles i arrive at school then put the car in 2nd gear 2 find a parking. After that i let the car roll, while pushing the clutch down in 2nd gear i hear this scratching sound coming from the engine it sounds like minature grinds, but it keeps repaeating. Well if anyone can tell me what it might be plz help and i am taking it to mazda 2 morrow morning should i take off my forge bpv?

as far as the bpv, if you have the time to, it cant hurt to take it off. some dealerships won't care about minor mods, but others will dick you over for any little thing. unless you know how your dealership tolerates that kind of stuff, i'd take it back stock.

dont really have any advice on the grinding tho, sorry. is it only doing it in 2nd gear?

happens in first 2 gears, didnt have time to check higher gears ill try other gears tho

Might be a problem with the synchros. never heard of it happening but if it only does it in low gears it might be a place to start.

could the shifter counterqweight have rattled loose? is it when shifting gears or just pushing the clutch in?

Maybe you just grinded into 2nd?
