If anyone is on and know how to get the brakes pistons pushed back on the rear brakes of an MP3, please let me know. I have broken 3 tools already, and yes i do have both regular brake and emergency brakes off. Please respond ASAP!

Thanks

i took mine off to do my springs, bc one bolt would clear the brakes and it slipped right back on. Might want to post in the performance section, might see a little more activivty.

I dont know too much about brakes.. but maybe you should try and bleed the brake lines a little bit.. Maybe you have too much pressure built up. I dont know.

THANKS....Praise

I dont know if this will help or not but its worth a try. Its the Protege5 shop manual portion for the brakes:

ELEmental59437,
Thanks a MILLION!!!!!! You saved me a lot of grief and time. The manual was just what I needed. Without it I would have been LOST. The rear brakes are a little more difficult to change than the front ones, but I figured it out. Oh, and thanks for the speedy response, I had the car up in the air in pieces when I posted. Once again, thanks a bunch!! Anyone who is attempting to change thier brakes themselves, particularly the rear ones, refer to the manual that ELEmental59437 has posted, or hit me up on IM, I can help you out a lot, since I now have 7 hrs of experience under my belt.
