So I was in california this weekend for a vacation that was much needed. One night, we decided to order pizza to our hotel and ordered from Luigi's at the Beach. Been there before and always loved it. So we had the pizza delivered along with wings, it was good and filling and everything went great. I tipped the guy a pretty dang good tip because I was feeling generous. about 25% or so. Never had to sign anything or didn't get a reciept but who cares, I was on vacation, right?

Soooo. . . This morning I was checking my bank statement. The pizza and wings came out to about $40 dollars worth. I didn't tip him on the card but tipped him cash. So I was expecting to see my $40 dollar charge when I was looking around at my bill. Boy was I surprised to find out that the pizza was $40 as I thought, BUT, the doughe bag delivery guy decided to forge my signature and give himself about a $50 tip!!!! What the F**K???? who in their right mind would do this and think tey would get away with it?!?

I am fuming and who better to fume to than all of you. Anywho, the dudes name is Ryan and I'm gonna get his ass fired. that is all. Figured it would be a fun story and something for all of you to watch out for.

On a good note, the pizza was kick-ass.

You know it's coming...

If it's not your signature, just call your credit card company and make a charge back to the pizzeria

I don't understand how you paid a delivery driver with a CC. They take only check or cash? Please enlighten me(spin)

Your card company will most certainly refund your money. I work at a large credit union and we had a situation where there was a bunch of fraud coming from the same restaurant. Didn't take long to figure out a waiter was skimming tips. They'd authorize your card and bring you back the receipt to sign, then add in their own tip and run the card for the full amount. Not worth the jail time.

You can order pizza online or over the phone. . .

The pizza delivery guy brings the receipt which you sign / fill in tip.

I understand that, i tried doing that before. But it wasn't allowed! Because of situations like this. Only option for delivery was (Check or cash). Damn that sucks
