ive only have my ears done right now and they were done with starte studs. but your right im going to hold off on the PA and make sure the tongue turns out alright first. ya i now that ice chips and listerine are going to be my friends for a long time. but i am doing it now cause im going on vacation for two weeks, by the time i get back to work my tongue should be good. thax for the all the help and advice man.

you dont have to look. and its a male platonic non sexualy way. the question was more for the LADIES :D :p

Sounds like you are going in the correct direction.

Except... :) Listerine is bad. Alcohol will dry the mucus membrane in your mouth out and kill all the good bacteria. And if over used it will create a condition called thrush. My advice is to rinse with water (or if you prefer, a mild salt water solution) after you put ANYTHING in your mouth besides water. If you feel you MUST use listerine, you might look at non-alcohol based mouth rinses or at the very least dilute the listerine 4:1 with water.

Or you can follow the aftercare sheet the piercer gives you, I just thought that you'd like to know an alternative method. I've noticed that a lot of piercers locally still give out dated information. The piercer I go to uses the leave it mostly alone method...don't **** with it unless it is causing you problems! :) And she's a hottie too (http://www.tattoosbybear.com/arabio.html)!

The tongue is a pretty easy piercing to get and heal. It doesn't hurt (the clamp hurt more than the needle imo) and is fast. After the first week of swelling it's a breeze.

Enjoy your new metal! (When are you getting it done?)

Get pictures of the procedure. That would be much cooler. I have pictures getting my tongue pierced (was as calm as a hindu cow) and one of my tattoos. If I can ever think of it I should get those pictures online someday.

Have fun!

Freekwonder,
I have my bellybutton done and took the tounge ring out. I did my last term paper on the levels of pain in piercing.

The tounge is going to hurt worse than the holes down under.

Customers have YOU on hold? There's a switch!

Sheesh! Did you give them too many decisions to make? They suddenly realized that a CD-ROM didn't play DVD's? They thought a "hard drive" was drag racing a Ferrari? :D :D

Really? I found the tongue to be nothing more than an intense pinch as the needle passed through. Now the upper ear cartilage hurt like a SOB.

Everyone's different I suppose.

It's funny that you mention the fact that some people think CD-ROM drive should play DVDs, because we get that all the time. AND the "What is a CD-RW?" :D And then some people don't even know what you mean by CD burner...

But I deal with businesses, so they usually know what they need.

I do this between calls and drool over the notebooks....me wantee!!

Its true in a way. But Im lucky that I only support Large account Customers. These are usually tech people also and they are nice. Or if I have a customer that is not a tech, its the companies machine and they can usually get a loaner or something so they dont get upset if the machines broken (its not even there machine, its the companies)so its all good.

it's good that it is a positive place to work then. :)

I have got to get a second job because sitting down all day is annoying!!
