Nice ride. Quick question: Why did you mount your new stereo (looks like a Pioneer Supertuner) so it takes up both DIN holes? As I'm typing this, it occurs to me that:

• you might originally had the big factory stereo that took up both slots
• disliked the little storage compartment and never wanted to see it again
• had a stereo installed that isn't DIN sized (not that there's anything wrong with that)
• just wanted to see how long it would be before some asshole asked you a really stupid question.

lol, thanx for heading them off at the pass. Actually I didn't have the trim ring for one thing when I made the back plate and two thats just temporary. I plan on making a new one out of some 16ga. stainless steel that I can get from work so that I can mount a guage set below the single din. The positon's not bad, but with the sunroof open and the sun out I cant read the display which is OEL, so I need to do something.

I was also considering putting side skirts on mine as well. Just wasn't sure what it might look like without changing the front bumper.
Are you considering getting the rear bumper lip from the MP3?

Where did you buy the side skirts and how much?

What make of muffler did you buy and how does it sound??

Yeah, I've been thinking about doin a whole new body kit actually. Use the corksport sport 20 front end, mintblue rear lip spoiler, and autoexe front lip with the factory side skirts. The side skirts I bought from the dealer I worked for before I quit. I think my cost on the was 150.00. Retail's not much more than that 180.00 according to the price list i've got. The muffler is a magnaflow racing series that's fully polished with a 4" angle cut tip. Sounds flat out awsome, really deep at wot and quiet with a nice tone at idle. it kind of reminds me of the way my ducati sounds just not quite as loud. As for the body kit that all depends on wether or not I keep my miata, i think it looks pretty good now, just need my springs to get here.

I'm actually going in a couple weeks to get a Magnaflow muffler installed. Just trying to decide which one to go with. Why are you changing to Racing Beat?
From what I've heard it sounds almost stock.

I wish I could get side skirts for $150.00. Here in Canada I'm looking at spending minimum $300.00.

Just kind of thinking about, more or less, the guys that installed the muffler and pipe from the resonator didn't do all I asked them to and didn't do a good job at mounting the exhaust, it rattles the whole back end like hell when i decellerate. They gave me the muffler and install for the cost of the muffler since the owner owed me a favor, so i can't complain so much. Just thinking if i do it again thats probably what i'll do if i get the cash, just know that it fits excat and will gain some real performance numbers.
