Pics of the drop.

So I think I'm probably one of the only people on here to run Tanabe NF210 springs. Here it is, the drop...with a bit of junk in the trunk ;) I know it's a bit hard to tell from the pics, but I have about a one-finger gap between the tire and the fender all around.

Also, that is my Rocky Mounts bike rack (wiggle)

The drop looks drastic in person; however, if you are used to seeing pictures of dropped cars, this one does not look that low. I'd say the claimed 1.2/1.0" F/R is accurate.

looks good man.
youre right though, pics dont do the drop any justice. but you can tell by the front bumper

Why would you want wheel spacers on stock rims if you go lower? The 3-5mm difference would not even me noticable.

The stock rims are so far recessed it looks silly. Lowering just exacerbates it. You're not limited to 5mm; push them out 15mm and it looks hot, plus the wider track improves stability.

Thats the drop I want for my 5. Looks nice. Do you have more pics? Did the rack come red?

Are you running longer studs with those 15mm spacer?

I sure hope so!

looks great!

15mm spacers..that would be sooo badass with my 215/45 on stockers but it'll rub (boom07)

Thank you for the comments!

I sort of took a risk with these springs because no one else has them, and I think it was worth it.

Yep, in the pics the cars always look higher for some reason. However, this drop is as low as I would want to go. Any lower and I think it would be a pain in the winter and just getting around town. Just my opinion though.

Sweet. How's the handling??

These springs are not much stiffer than stock, however, I did notice better cornering. The car feels more nimble for sure. There's definite improvement, though I don't think these springs would be suited for Auto-X. And really they never meant to be.

Looks nice! If you plan on keeping the stock rims, consider some wheel spacers. :)

Thank you for that link. I agree that a lower offset would look better.

I will take more pics and post them! :) I am still riding on stock struts, so one of my corners is sagging a bit (rear driver's). I think the drop will look better with new struts, which are in the mail on the way to me (alright)

The rack...

came red. They have a lot of different colors to choose from!

Hows the ride? New struts too?

The ride is decent, not bouncy at all. Like I mentioned, the struts are old and need to be replaced. The car feels smoother over bumps; however, an improvement in cornering is also evident. (drinks)

I have the tanabe GF series for my 5. They are pretty stiff and the ride is awesome.
Sweet! What struts are you running with them? I have considered them but didn't want a harsh ride.

Don't need new struts with NFs--the rates are the same as stock.

No need for new struts, if your struts are fairly new. Mine sadly are not :(

Found more pics!!!

Ill chime in and say I have the Tanabe DF210's on my XB and couldnt be happier. I rate Tanabe over Tein any day of the week in terms of ride quality and product build. Its just a wonderful ride, and at 2+ inches of drop, you wouldnt expect it to be too smooth. I can handle about any turn with very minimal play, the thing handles like its on rails. I plan to go the same route on my MP5 as well.
