if you get the right amp, build the right box, it will sound good mazpro. Like i said, its very good for what you pay, but it's still not impressive to me because i need something loud that sounds very good and plays all frequencies great. Although i am suprised how low frequencies this speaker can reproduce...

Ha, yeah, cause for me I don't usually associate Kmart with subwoofer... but then again I don't usually associate Kmart with sub sandwich either...

However in my stupid mind I would've associate Kmart with sub sandwich before a subwoofer.... Just me....(friday)

actually they will last if you don't beat the s*** out of it, i have bad jensen AND KRACO subs, the worst subs imaginable, they don't sound good but they are still working after 4 years lol

well, the amp is not even at full gain, so im not really pushing the limits of this sub(yet), once i have the brahma in my possesion, i will turn the amp up and see if the sub blows =)

You're sending it clean power, and I'm sure you know what bottoming out sounds like so my bet is that it won't blow until you actually try to blow it.

yea, i know when a speaker starts distorting and id turn it off asap, havent tried it yet but my brahma shipped out yesterday and i guess it will be here friday, so thats when i put this pioneer to the test before i take it out =)

actually i like pioneer subs alot...they are great for the price...they are easily the best for the buck...

preimer subs kick ass, the cheaper pioneer line is not the best though even though they work (i don't even think pioneer makes them)
