HeavyH2O, what mods are on your CX7. I can't believe a stock CX7 will do low 6 0-60 times. All the car magazines reported high 7's at best.
I know, HUGE difference. The car has no mods other than yanking the baffle out of the air box. I was baselining the car before I bought all the CP-E parts. If I put it in drive and simply floor it, 7.9 to 8.1. I think that is what the magazines report. After the new ECU flash it is now 7.5 doing the same thing. If I shift early, manually, instead of in Drive, I can get 6.7 - 6.8, easily, with a normal launch. If I load the trans before take off (2200 rpm), TCS off, and really watch the RPM's, a low 6 second is repeatable anywhere from 6.2 to 6.4. The 6.02 was things coming together just right. Cool air, good launch, the right shifts, etc. The real secret if NOT flooring out of the start. That seems to fatten the fuel delivery too much. Instead, do 3/4 until you feel the turbo pull, then push it the rest of the way. That part is good for .4 all by itself.
Of course, it is nothing like my old Grand National that did 11.8 1/4 mile times. Couldn't turn worth beans, however. 0-60 in 3.6

I was just reading the thread about the new 300hp Caliber SRT-4 and they rated that at 5.9 seconds 0-60. 6.02 for the CX-7 is great!(friday)
Well, I find that car mags report things a little slower than they are capable. For example the MazdaSpeed 6 was tested at 6.2 seconds. There are more than a few members who have easily eclipsed that number. So, the Caliber is likely a low 5 second car in the right hands. That will likely whoop me to 60 by a second or more. And, it should, with more horspower in a smaller vehicle!

Will the DashHawk give any trip info like MPG, DTE, etc?
I will test those functions and report back. If the computer reports them, then they should be available.
