Pics From My Turbo Install!

Usually you adjust the actuater rod. Its vacuum controlled. Ask linux, or anyone with the FP kit, or any kit that is internally wastegated. HIboost or any of the guys can help too. I would tell you, but i dont know which way you need to turn it or how many times. i wannt think one turn equals something like 1/2 psi.

you need to move your actuator, you normally NEVER want to do this but in your case you want to.

the actuator needs to be shorter for less boost.

it does not take ANYTHING AT ALL really to change boost alot.

i shoot 13 psi on 4.5 in rod, or 6 psi on a 4 in rod. does this make sense? i have to actuators. a adjustable one and a non adjustable one. once you change size of rods your boost WILL kick in differently. thats why for now i just watch the pedal and use my 13 psi actuator... because the other one does not boost as smooth.

peace and good luck, if i lived by you you bet your ass id help ya.

you cant lower the boost with an mbc, only raise it from the wastegate boost level.
yup, thats why its best to get the lowest actuator you can, you can always raise it, never lower it unless you change or mod the actuator its self.

Very nice job that you have done, Acidbbg. And I have a question for Acidbbg and any P5 owner who has a turbo installed, do your engine light come up at all after you install the turbo? Because from what I know that our cat would be replaced due to the installation of the turbo, right? So I am curious if any of you have the problem seeing engine light goes up..... thanks for reading

The kit From Flyin Miatia..Will not throw a check engine light..it keeps both cats!

I have a 2.5" downpipe that replaced my 1st cat! and i have the cel fix..so no problems!

:D

I was wondering if the MIL/CEL fix would work in conjunction with the FP 02 clamp? anyone?

It's worked for me...I have the Cel Fix in..Hmm...Maybe that's causing my Problem w/ my stalling issue??

Chas

someone asked keith@FP, and he didnt know what the check engine light fix was. I dont know of anyone else running the two in combination. I dont see why it would cause any problems, but you never know? I would ask him.

I have just attached a copy of the fix i used!

That's for the CEL..It basically gives the pcm a signal that all is ok..

Not sure if it's affecting my setup..but i might just uninstall..and see if it makes a difference!

The cel fix i installed..is ususally used when you remove your cats..

Chas
