we stayed in Waikiki at the Imperial. we rented a car and spent most of the time driving around the island, didnt spend much time at all in Waikiki (as you can tell by the pics)

we didnt get around to the windward side much..we were only there for 5 days :( damn work...

Is the Imperial the place on Lewers? If so I think we are staying at the same place when we go in May. It's been 2 1/2 years since I've been there.

yeah its on Lewers. theres lots of construction going on around there right now, but the place was pretty nice...they nickel and dime the s*** outta you though..$15/day for valet parking, but you arent allowed to park it yourself, and $4 a day for DVD rental..just because there was a dvd player in the room...

thanks for the comments on the pictures, i took 90% of them, my wife took the others. we wanted to take "artistic" pictures that i can print out and frame and put on the walls, so thats why you dont really see any "touristy" photos...

Yeah that's the place we are staying. I recall seeing all those fees. This was our second or third choice on condos. The first one we wanted was booked under our noses. We sent an email indicating interest - within 24 hours it was booked by someone else. :(

Ah well... it's only money. It grows on trees...

i saw a blue p5 for sale at mashcars (i think) on Kamehama Hwy, just north of H-2...it had a fake hood scoop, black painted stock rims, mesh front grill in covering the radiator...anybody on here?

that sucks..we had a two bedroom two bath, but the second bedroom had enough room for a bed and literally nothing else...barely enough room to walk around the bed. but hey, its still better than Cleveland...

waimea closed a long time ago. they were thinking of either building there or turning it into a conservation or something. thank god they decided on the conservation. missed out on the 4 wheel rentals out there

Nice pics. My wife and I went a couple of years ago for 2 weeks, but only spent about 4 days on Oahu (2 days on Waikiki and 2 days on North Shore). The rest of the time we were on the big island - had a blast! Can't wait to go back there some day.
