So as the new track season begins, I need to repaint my wheels. I figured I'd see what you guys liked the best.

Orange- 1st color I painted the Rotas

All White- Original color of the wheels

I'm open to other suggestions. I will not paint them silver/polished lip though as I don't want to pass knock offs as the true Racing Harts.

orange looks like your rolling on basketballs. i cant take a car seriously with orange rims, even though i love orange on a car, but never on a rim.

get all black dude. it looks so stealthy on your car. flat black FTW!

i like the all orange, orange and black, and orange and polished. to many black with polished and all black, not saying its bad. i have a set of black wheels for my car, but i think the orange looks awesome. maybe orange with black lip.

I like all the ones with orange as well. Stands out, but in a good way.(thumb)

Black wheels, orange lip is very nice (original).

I'm curious..how do you go about painting them? Isn't there a nasty protective film on the wheel?

If you are still rocking the orange numbers, I think the black and orange wheel goes very well. I like it.

white looks good and its different. any color (specially black) with anything lip is tooo played out.

Yea I enjoy making the car look "goofy"

Thanks for the ideas and suggestions guys, keep them coming.

I just scuff them up with 220->400->800 grit, wipe down with stripper/acetone and spray them. The clear Rota used wasn't too hard to sand off. They don't come out especially great and because I don't clear them the paint is pretty porous. By the end of the weekend the paint has absorbed alot of brake dust. Adding a few layers of clear will help protect the finish against the elements though.
