anyway i do plan on carpeting it, but i'm having second thoughts b/c i have no idea where to get the carpet i need. Lowes didn't have anything that looked suitable

Well you have the silk sheetz.. so when you put the box on there be sure to take some pictures and share them with us as well.. hehe..

try an audio store.. they usually have some nice stuff.. they sell soem cheap stuff at bestbuy.. you have to get it from the install shop instead of the store.. and I know they have some at partsexpress.com but I have never tried that.. I always get it at ovation.. which is prob comparable to tweeter..

You can get your carpet from Crutchfield believe it or not. It's good quality and they sell it for short money. I have it on my box and my false floor. It's been holding up great!

have you thought about using textured paint to paint the box? ill post pics of my ghetto box when i get it all done.. same amp u got runnin 1 edo12.. should be nice.. well see.. -=P

nice job, looks likeyou are doing a good job. if i was you i'd try and find carpet that matches your cars carpet so the box fits right in.
