Yeah, I know a lot of people to get rid of creature comforts to save weight and use the played out phrase "Because racecar..."
I enjoy my creature comforts and am starting a new soon to be played out phrase and say "Because daily driver..."
On the bright side, at least it's a part that can be replaced and not one that has to be repaired in place.
Well... I learned why the starter wasn't working anymore...
It wasn't attached anymore. Apparently, one of the starter bolts backed itself out and fell off (or wasn't there to begin with), and the other one loosened up enough to start stressing the aluminum. Snapped it right off.
Yep, but it will be done soon. I just can't find the damn ground wire to hook to the starter. It's just a simple ring terminal, but I have no idea where it went.
Me thinks there was only one bolt in it this whole time.
