PG Turbo Inlet

Hey Ken, I know I keep bugging you about this but my intake still hasn't come in the mail yet. Did you happen to stick a tracking number on it?

What kind of HP estimates would you guys say this is giving you over the stock TIP? I'm in the beginning phases of mods and am thinking Test Pipe, PG TIP and PG SRI for starters.. Could this combo boost me up 25-30hp?

i doubt that much without exhuast mods but i could be wrong.

the TIP does help spool a lil but thats about it. look at it more like a small piece to a bigger puzzle.
it'll complement your intake and increase overall flow better.

Check to make sure there isn't any loose material inside the inlet before install, and it's probably a good idea to clean it out as well. Just a safe reminder.

dont really know but ever since i got my SRI and TIP and new BOV.. i feel like its a new car. Pulls harder, and stays strong through out the rpms and doesnt lose power. I think mods u listed about i suggest you get a BPV or BOV cuz you stock mite be leaking since its a piece of plastic s*** that is known to leak and if it does then you're loosing power so make sure u get that out too.

I finally received my PG SRI in the mail today after it sat in a post office somewhere in Illinois for about a week (postmarked 17 June). Now I have a full intake. This thing sounds so sweet! I love the how much more grunt this has and how much louder it made my BPV.

So I installed my combo today and yes the stock the BPV is alot louder, maybe a little louder than I prefer but not bad.

My question is, as soon as my car starts getting boost there is a loud hiss that continues until I hear the BPV release. Is that normal with this combo or is my BVP leaking? I hope it is cause that would explain the problems I've been having for 6 months.

yah, thats the turbo, not the bpv, spooling up and heaving compressed air into the motor. the sound you here in between shifts is the bpv.

Someone give this man a prize!

Typically, the SS inlets will cause the intake to be louder than before. Silicon inlets will quiet the system back down.

I love sounding like semi truck going down the highway so I'm fine with the sound. It also keeps people from messing with me. They tend to stop toying with me once I give them a good hiss and let off causing my bpv to clang at them. You know....sort of like an alligator or crocodile hissing at you to stay away? :p
