That's pretty crazy. Do you have sharp nails? (lol2) Fortunately, I have a leather wrapped wheel. Maybe it's time to put some leather on yours too?

ha, normal. Dealers. Seems like a defect in the material manufacturing.

Hahaha no I don't!!

That's what I suggested they give me now, but they are claiming this is normal as they have already replaced it once! I don't understand how they can justify this as normal!! (pissed)

Their answer sounds conflicting. If it is considered normal, why would they replace the wheel once already? If it truly was normal, they would tell you that and send you on your way. It sounds to me like they already lost money replacing your steering wheel once, and they don't to lose anymore, despite if it's a real problem or not. So much for customer service...

Exactly what I said. The girl assisting me, went and checked the yard to see if theirs were doing it and some were. So I said how can some be peeling and some not yet you're still saying this is normal? I have a mazda rep coming to look at it soon. Idiots.

It gets better. I put my car in for a service, took my rims off the night before as they are too big, put my stock wheels back on that have been sitting in my garage for the last 3 months and was told I'll need new tyres at my next service! The stock wheels have been on my car for 2-3 weeks maximum when I first bought it yet some how I'll need new ones at my next service!! Rip off bastards.

Do you have access to another dealer? Your current one leaves a bad taste in my mouth despite the fact I just brushed my teeth.

You won't know until you try, but every dealer is different with different people and mind sets. You can even use it to your advantage. "You can earn my business by giving me better service than this dealership".
