painting my rims

so im gona paint my rims dont know what color yet i got a true red ms3
looking for input im trying to avoid a black and red theam i was thinking a dirty bronz or dark gold
i think that would look nice
also any tricks tips and pointers will help

i still wana do black decals but not rims i need an off set coloer

What's the proper prep work for painting the rims?

95% of painting wheels the right way is the prep: clean, sand, clean, clean... and when you think it's clean enough, clean some more.

The other 5% is the actual painting itself.

My Mom doesnt have a red car with black rims... Maybe go white, that would set it off!

Oh, and dont sand them, use an adhesive promoter. That way if ANYTHING happens and you need to get that paint off you can without making your wheels look like ass cause the factory clear is gone from sanding.

plllleaase whatever you do paint them black. everyone does it. its played out, and is old.

white, or bronze would be sick. I think anything too dark would just look like a dirty wheel of a brighter color...

I have a 08 red speed3 lowered w/h&R's and i painted my stockers the same color as the new lexus hf wheels its like a met. grey it looks hot!!
