I think that's just personal preference. I doubt it, but to be honest I'm not 100% sure if there's anything more than aesthetics involved here.i was looking at the caliper and noticed that there is a tin metal bar that goes over the caliper. did you guys paint that too?
No, you do not. Removing calipers would be a lot of extra work. Jack it up, remove wheels, follow paint manufacturer's instructions exactly. This includes NOT using brakes (ie, driving) for at least 24 hours after application, so make sure you've got a 2nd ride or at least a bikeso my question is. do we have to take apart the caliper to paint it?
