I just got my car back from shop and my passenger sides of doors were all painted and color yellow looks different than factory paint it and color yellow looked like yellow paint used at is300, and mechanic told me, it has little different color because paint job was new... and it will take sometime to match up factory paint.
I just wanted to know if this was true or he painted my doors with different yellow.

If your factory paint look just a little duller he could be telling the truth. You could have some oxidized paint. Get a bottle of Maguiers paint cleaner at Pepboys or Auto Zone for like $6 and try cleanign a little of your old paint. If it matches up then just finish the car.

If it doesn't match up, or is obviously different just looking at it I'd take it back to the shop. Ask them to show you what paint code they used. If it doesn't match up with the one in your door sticker then have them re-do it. If you used insurance to pay for this have your insurance agent give them a call.

My protege's fender and front bumper are painted in silver at bodyshop and I can notice the color difference. They used the same paint as the code says. They told me that the old paint faded a little bit. As sunlight and rain hit the paint, the new paint's color will fade like the old paint's. After a couple months they will be almost matched. Try waxing it and protect the old paint from fading.
