Anyone got any recommendations on brake pads for our CX-7?

Anyone DIY their brake job?

We probably need rotors too but can't buy them too right now.

I say stay away from EBC Reds, warped my rotors twice with em, and I'm not the first to do so. Switching to Hawk HPS. Bendix were great on my Integra

A lot of people have used our brake packages (stage 2) and have noticed that they have a significant decrease in brake dust over stock pads.

OEM pads worked great for me and still good at 60,000 miles. Good stopping power and low dust. No need to change rotors unless you run pads TOO longs and score them. Ed

I am leaning towards Centric Premium rotors and pads.
What about doing these at home? Anyone do this yet? How's the hassle factor?

Updated the shipping charges on the packages, they will cost $25.00 per brake kit.

Brakes will be very similar to your Protege 5 but just bigger components. Instead of sockets, you might need to use allen wrenches when taking off the slider bolt.
