P5 Wiring Question

I recently painted my headlights on my P5 to black and when I was reinstalling the lowbeam connector I realized that this could be reversed. Well, it's been about a week since I did the headlights and now both bulb's have blown. I never touched the bulb while they were out so that's not the problem. Basically i need someone to tell me what direction these need to be plugged in... this diagram doesn't help.

Hmm good question. When we do the rest of our headlights this sunday we can use masking tape and lebel the wires so they go back in the same way they came out.

Looking at another car may also help too.

It looks like two different connectors. Just make sure you put the angled one on the interior and the straight one on the out side...

I don't have my P5 yet

If the are color coded differently maybe someone can advise you which ones are the inner lights and which are the outer.

im pretty sure you can only plug each harness into one specific spot.

H7 (single filament) light bulbs do not have polarity. Does not matter which way you connect it.

Doggie, thanks. I guess they were just bad bulbs (silverstars).... Well, I have about 5 or more P5 coming to my place this sunday so we can compare then....
