P5 Mud Guards

I am trying to find some mud guards for my 2003 Protege5. The standard Protege guards do not fit due to the body molding of the 5. Does anyone know where I can get some guards that will fit my stock P5?!?

I can understand that in life there might just be a need for the guards, but I just cant imagin the car looking good with them on!

I take my last post back, get the black rubber guards with the metal naked lady on them. . . that will look good.

(just a little white lie!)

Actually I was wondering about these myself... and depending on the design they might actually look good... if they would look like something integrated with the body kit...

I originally wanted mudguards for my P5 as well, but I found out that the side skirt and rear fender design do a pretty good job of keeping debris off the paint all by themselves. Behind both wheels, front and back, the bodywork flares out a bit and that seems to direct rocks and other road junk out or downwards. I'm normally a fan of mudguards, but after 18 months with my P5 I think I'd pass on them even if they did come out with a set that fits--the lower parts of my car still look great.

i heard some people put duct tape on the bottom moldings in winter to protect them which can compensate for the lack of mudgaurds. I don't think i'd want to though.

I was very worried about not having mud guards considering the roads I drive. But after over a year of driving bad roads and going through one bad winter, my car still looks good and I don't think the guards are necessary.
