P2006...no boost

Ok, so i just did the MAF relocation and now I am getting CEL and not boosting. The OBD reader says P2006 Intake Manifold Runner stuck closed...control bank 1. What does this mean?
 
No. Plus it worked fine at first. I figure this gives me a good opportunity to get that intake manifold without the VICS s*** and ported and polished.
 
i have the same code pop up from time to time but it only comes on when i really get into it....then after a few start ups it will go away...or I'll disconnect the battery and it doesn't come on again......i haven't really had time to go by the dealer to see what the actual diagnosis is
 
my msp is completly stock and i just got this code for the first time.... anyone else have any insight as to what might cause this? or how to remedy?
 
I used to get this code along with one for EGR insuficient lift, both codes sometimes at the same time sometimes one at a time then they go away on their own. That was just the start as I also began to lose boost until I had to floor it until redline just to get 1-2psi. Replaced the WGA and it fixed the problem.
 
Perhaps one of the controls on the intake manifold are disconnected.

I believe that the problem you are having is that the flaps in the intake are closing. It feels like "SLOW"

You can try disconecting the vac lines on the pass side of the maifold. (2 Sets)

plug the lines wit a small bolt and go for a rip. if it's better (It will be) that is 100% your problem.

Right now I am 98% sure that it is.
 
You could easily rip and plug the vac lines that go to that system. If that fixes the problem, at least you have something to tell the mechanic.

Or trouble shoot it until it works.
