I got a CEL a while back, Autozone read and cleared the codes for me. The car seems to be running fine, but is hard to start on occasion. So based on the manual I have (ugly.net), I did a resistance test on the sensor which should be 560 kilohms. The needle on my tester barely moved, so I thought the sensor was bad. I picked up a new one today and it reads the same resistance. Now what?
When the CEL first came on, I was somewhat low on fuel, but ended up putting another 50 miles on that same tank before the fuel light came on. The print-out from Autozone says a possible cause is low fuel pressure and I did feel a slight stumble on moderate acceleration seconds before the CEL came on. I am not sure where to go from here. Any help? The CEL has stayed off for the past 400+ miles.
I am going to try to sell the car, but I don't want the CEL to pop up weeks after someone buys the car.
