I thought an occupational thread of what kinda work we do to mod our cars (basicly) would be something worth having a thread about. Feel free to put in details, and even ur earnings I guess.(boom08)

Ill start. Im working at kroger's grocery as a "courtesy" clerk(bag groceries, tell the customer to have a nice life and leave, and push buggies)
 
Im a SGT in the wonderful US Army serving overseas at the moment, My job title "Chemical Biological Radioactive Nuclear Specialist" or CBRN/Chemical NCO...To go into detail would take too long and it isnt as exciting as it sounds because there is no nuclear threat right now...As for wages, I make a lil sum sum
 
Currently a student at The Ohio State University studying Aerospace Engineering. Income = whatever my student refund check is.
 
I'm going to OSU next year for engineering. I'm not happy at all about the no car on campus freshman year thing. I don't know what I'm going to do going months at a time without just going for a drive or at least seeing my protege. Do you if there is any way to get around that and get a parking pass?

U cud try finding a garage to park ur car at.

Refund checks FTMFW!!! When u get out, u shud be baWling...or paying loans.

Im going to MSU for mechanical engineering this fall. hopefully they accept me in time.

oh no, what u trying to explain? its not that serious that i need to know...I used to wanna be an astronaut, but i got mroe realistic i guess. not to doubt myself...
 
i am a technician in non-destructive testing. all that means is that i test materials without destroying the usefulness. the majority of the work is industrial radiography of welds, so i work with a radioactive source to perform x-rays on welds. as for income, i don't talk money much. i will say that i do well.
 
I deliver/assistant manage for a Papa Johns store part time and am a full time student...I also coach wrestling at a local high school...pay...I am averaging a pretty good bit a year...
 
Desk jockey. Customer service/data processing/retention/phones/administrative stuff. Income? I make a good deal for a 20-year-old with no professional skills or a degree.
 
Uhhh...29 years old. I'm a Probation, Parole, and Pardon Agent with the State of South Carolina (we are one of the only states where we are certified law enforcement and we can write and serve our own warrants!) Pay scale is on the web somewhere if you're really that interested... I get to carry a gun and arrest people, so it's all fun!

How's the AE program there? I just graduated undergrad AE from VT back in May and now I work for GE Aviation down in Evendale. I'm in GE Co-op program (EEDP) and I have the option of taking graduate level classes at a local university to possibly get my Master's. OSU is one of my option schools (along with UC, Dayton and Miami).
