Normally Low profile tires stick very well.

You have a 2800 Lb car pulling high G corners over and over with grippy tires.

If there are any slight defects in the rim or lets say you are in a hard corner and hit a slight bump you will likely find the design limit of those rims.

If you still have the stock rims and are really interested in racing then put some nice rubber on them and go enjoy your car on the track..

I personally would be affraid of mine and the spokes are BEEFY compared to that top set.
 
I'm not gonna track those. I have a different set of 17" wheels. They are nothing like that one. The ones on now are 19"s that's asking for it.
 
19's are a tough fit too. Do you rub in the rear? (No perverted replies please)
 
Hmm, rims look rather large. I prefer the older ones, but that's just me :D Nice!
 
I like those new ones. I was actually deciding between those and the set that I bought. I say keep em.
