The 2nd gen MS3CAI is a good mod. It adds significant power gain. Make sure you get something in WRITING from the dealer and from Mazda that they will not disallow warranty claims due to the CAI. They must install it. And even then you might not be safe.
We are seeing from posts on this forum that Mazda is trying to disclaim warranty responsibilty for problems caused by their own dealers. It seems like Mazda takes the position on some claims that unless it is shown to be a manufacturing defect rather than a dealer screw up, they are not stepping up to do the fix under warranty.
As to the exhaust, the official MS3 upgrade looks and sounds good, but will not really improve performance. Again, if dealer installs they should stand behind it and behind any other warranty problem, but read the threads here on some of the warranty horror stories and draw your own conclusion.
