Hello,
New member here. I just picked up a used 2016 CX-5, and I'm learning it's a bit of a weird transition spec/year when it comes to the radio. It has a non-touch screen, old school radio with 7 speakers(one in each door, and 3 in dash). It's a 2.0l 6 speed manual that was originally sold in Canada.
I want to put a carplay receiver into the car, but the connections on the back are a bit weird.
After talking to someone at Crutchfield, they said I should use Metra 70-7552 to connect the radio.
The cheap android unit I picked up has the connections for the USB and Antenna.
My question is what is the other white connector in the car for? AUX input maybe?
Anyone ever work on this specific setup?
