One week later... Questions

1. Is it just me or is the turning single extremely sensitive or doesn't always reset after a turn?

2. Regular or premium? I've driven cars where you get pinging noises when you use a lower octane gas. I still know little about the cx-5. What do you recommend?

3. Squeaking noise when closing the moon roof shade... Quick fix?

4. What is the ( ! ) button on the left side of the steering wheel? I know... I'm ridiculous...

Overall I LOVE the ride. I'm hitting up a store today that I think sells that 303 cleaner (thanks everyone for the tip). Then we're gonna drive up to mt hood. Woohoo!

#1 I assume you mean signal. Depends on the angle of the turn. 99% of normal turns should reset the signal.
#2 Regular. Read the manual.
#3 Live with it. If it only squeaks when closing the shade I don't see a problem.
#4 Believe it's the TPMS set button.

You can answer most questions by opening the manual.

1) There is an option to turn on/off the automatic lane change signal feature. This causes the signals to continue to flash for about 2 seconds when you nudge the turn signal stalk. You may want to turn this feature off in case you are inadvertently activating it.

2) Definitely regular, 87 octane is what it's designed to run best on. Even in hot weather and/or under heavy engine load (the engine always knows how hot it is and how much load it is under and thus dials the various parameters back to suit 87 octane).

3) Maybe your dealer has an idea how to fix your sunroof squeak. Or, perhaps just using it a bit will make it go away?

4) I would have to look in the manual.
