One of those STF builds

Wow, $816 is very tempting. I'll be really interested to hear your impressions of the Bilsteins, I was planning on just getting shocks to go with my springs but Bilstein has a great rep and the ease of coilover installation really appeals to me.

When pricing out springs and shocks your looking at around $600 bucks for an extra $200 why wouldn't you get coilovers :) Plus Bilstein makes a great mono tube shock.

As for a review The ARP stuff is backordered so the install is going to wait :( Plus I am going to order the bushings and rear sway bar tonight or tomorrow so I will be waiting on those items as well.

I have heard nothing but good things from my friends who race and other people on this forum who have this setup if that helps you

Yea the Bilsteins have been great for me. Also I am looking forward to a year from now when I have Fat Cat revalve them. Also, you don't have to wait for the ARP bolts, which are always on back order for any size. I already had them when I installed mine. You can just use stock bolts then swap in the ARP once you get them in. Just do them one at a time and the alignment shouldn't change at all.

My understanding was the the stock bolts were 14mm and the ARP were 12mm letting you move the front shock closer for more camber... I was also going to slot them so it sits on the knuckle

Tri-point b-spec rear sway bar is ordered. Not sure yet what I am doing about the bushings now :(

No the bolts are the same size. I just used a die grinder to slot the holes on the shocks so get the adjustment. I used the ARP bolts so I can tighten them more so they don't move while cornering and hitting bumps.

Ahh okay got it! I was given so wrong info then... :( or maybe I misread what was told to me hmm. Either way I have what I need.

It is kind of a weird setup. Make your life easy and mark the end plates when you take them out of the bubble wrap with the L or R they come with or some head scratching will ensue.

Big day for the 2. I installed the bilsteins, Rear sway and detailed the car :) Here is a picture after the detail. Washed, clayed and sealed. I will wax it in a few days after the sealant has time to work in. Btw if you guys are looking to get your black trim looking good you should get Adams in and out spray. Works great for the bumpers and window trims

Here is how the car sits. 24F 24.5R 4in front jacking point 4.7in rear jacking point. Granted this was done in the street so.... haha

I stopped by a good year to grab a FREE alignment check :) Here are the numbers. I am going to leave the rear along and zero out the front toe. I need to work on slotting the front struts to gain more camber. -1.1 isnt that hot :( I wanted at least -1.8
Alignment specs
Front
-1.1 camber
-0.57 toe
3.8 caster
Rear
-1.6 camber
0.25 toe

Very nice. I'm really interested to know how the Bspec rear bar does with the street valved bilsteins. From what i've read online, small adjustments can make a big change. (This is on tracked B-Specs with slicks). Mine is in the mail due to arrive on tuesday. :)

Not sure the valving is any different from what I understand. I adjusted it one turn so far its good. Maybe one day I will take it off go for a drive then install it again and see whats what
