ok I'm coming in to this thread kinda late too but, that has to be the most unoriginal design for a body kit ever. I mean come on if you going to go through all the trouble to make a body kit at least try and be a little creative with it... I wouldnt mind seeing that front lip though, even if it is in fiber glass I might think of purchasing one if it looks half way desent and is priced like that front end is.

I'm going to go out on a limb, and say that I like it. I think that with the addition of the fog lights and custom grill, maybe the same color as the car, this kit would look really nice and aggressive. The price is not horrible either. We need more people to go ahead and introduce body kits like the proposed. People always complain about not seeing enough kits for Proteges in magazines such as Super Street and Sport Compact Car. I feel that this was an excellent addition to a limited market, and would love to see the kit - with a few minor additions - on my p5. Nice work!

I'll say this about the current body kits that are out right now. AutoExe has the best looking kit out. Wings West is ok, but I really don't like it. I didn't go the onderground's site and see that they are making autoexe replicas. They are selling them at a good price too, I think it beats the dg motorsports prices. But I wont'buy from them because it's fiberglass. I'd rather get it in carbonfiber. But that's great that another company is making the replicas because that drives down the prices, but as for the cow eater front, still makes me want to vomit.

I totally agree with you. People keep saying that it's just like every other Honda kit, but .. but.. we need one of those for the proteges! If I had a regular Protege and not an MP3, I would probably be all over this kit.. Yer not gonna be like every other ricer out there if you put your heart into it, do a good job putting it on, and you keep it clean.. I think this kit, if well done, would look really bitchin' on a protege.
And a little bit off topic, I think nearly everybody is way too harsh with the 'ricer' thing.. eh.. quit acting high and mighty, we all like to mod our cars and we should all be nice to each other.. the end.

peace man smoke a bowl lets just play nice um k? come on man, are you a hippie? if someone puts a picture of a snow plow on the front of a mazda they should get flamed for it plain and simple. untill a year ago i was a domestic guy. i bought my mazda to do something different but all i see is RICE. i am almost fed up with the import scene because of bad ass body kits and neons and ******* air suspensions. WILL SOMEONE PLEASE IMPORT SOME REAL JDM STUFF? I AM LOSING MY MIND!!!!

A friend of mine pointed out why the bumper looks huge to me in the first photo but not so much from the side:

The bumper sticks out more at the corners than in the middle. It doesn't follow the curve of the front of the car. If they pulled that back a bit at the corners and straightened out the outside edge so it doesn't flare so much, I think I'd like it. Have to imagine grills and fog lights in it, too.
Doesn't matter much since I don't have the money to be buying front bumpers or lips right now.
I hope they didn't just post and leave. There are SOME useful comments in here for them.

maybe i can get alittle fired up but you don't understand, i hate RICE!!! it drives me crazy to see people put lights and graphics and silly s*** like that on cars. it just doesn't serve a purpose. i see so many hondas around atlanta with massive body kits and neons and light up everything, i guess it just gets on my nerves. i am sorry if i offended anyone. however, i still say that body kit looks like ass. i bet from the back you can see the sides of the front bumper. snow plow style.

all o this rice hitis crap. wo cars what other people put on there car.i bet half the people in here who talk s*** drive stock and think they are so cool. talking s*** about one of the few companies that acutally supports are cars. if you dont like it fine but to talk s*** just because you dont lik it is childish. give them some ideas on what you want to see. i be most of you cant even com close to building something like that. and if you can then stop wasting your time and build something better instead of complaing about it. i know people that think mp3 are rice. stop being. i dont care if a car has a thousand stickers on it if itwasdone wel with good quality work then i will say its a nice car. i knowa couple of cars with stickers, neon ,tons of ice and they can smoke our cars
